Performance for Adults

Mime Explains String TheorySheila-24Feb10-0043.JPG

or, Mime Explains Life, Death

In her performance for adults, she starts before birth, ends after death, and toddles unsteadily across the terrain between. She accidentally uncovers the meaning of life and valiantly struggles to communicate it. Delighting audiences with her quirky humor and uplifting surprises, she incorporates mime, puppetry, metaphysics and metaphor, and leaves audiences with that rising feeling. What more could anyone ask for?

What audience members have said:
"I laughed so hard, I was bent over!"
"I laughed till I cried!"
"It was brilliant!"

Upcoming performances: November 5th and 6th, 2010, 7:30 PM and November 7th 2:00 PM
Durham Arts Council, 120 Morris St. Durham, NC 27701 Tickets: $13.00

The Juggler Who Drops! The Mime Who Talks!

Her performance for children includes juggling (and dropping) while she talks about the importance of failure in learning and growing. She juggles and tells a story about setting a positive mental attitude to aim for success. Her lecture-demonstration about mime is a piece to remember. She even performs silent mime pieces! One explores a search for identity, another will lift your spirits. At the end of the performance, she can teach mime or juggling to up to 30 audience members.

Premier Performance: July 28, 2010, 1:00 PM, at the NC Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC, 27607 (919) 715-5923

Roving Mime and Special Appearances

Sheila is the clown or mime who adds sparkle and fun to your special event, parade, or festival by drawing people into her world and engaging them in silliness. She will teach people how to juggle at the drop of a hat!
